AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS

A paper is accepted (oral or poster) IF one of the authors, registered at ICSO 2020.

We invite speakers to show pedagogy during their presentations and to make the effort to clearly specify at the very beginning of the presentation the context of their work and the originality of the results obtained.

During the session

  • We will use the virtual application, in combination with Zoom.
  • There will be one Zoom-Q&A meeting per Oral Session.
  • Posters sessions will not have dedicated Zoom live sessions. Visitors will be able to view the 5min video and the PDF file of the poster into the agenda. Then, they will be able to ask written questions via the chat.
  • A paper (sub-session) will appear in the agenda as follows: Scheduled time + title + presenter. Your uploaded bio and picture will be available there. The PDF-file of your full paper will be integrated in the agenda. A link to your recorded presentation will be made available through a private YouTube-channel.
  • On the foreseen hour, the presenter of the paper and the session chair(s) will connect live, and the discussion will start, live and per chat-Zoom. The dedicated Zoom-link will be integrated in agenda.
  • The presenter should be virtually present during his presentation at the virtual conference. It is highly recommended that the author/presenter has its pptx presentation at hand to be able to share a slide while answering a specific question.
  • Videos of the presentations (oral and poster) and Q&A Zoom sessions will be displayed 1 hour before the scheduled time.
  • The virtual platform will remain available until 31 July 2021
